A
Patch of Old Snow
There’s a patch of old snow in a corner
That I should have guessed
Was a blow away paper the rain
Had brought to rest.
It is speckled with grime as
if
Small print overspread it
The news of a day I’ve forgotten-
If I ever read it.

Starfish Star-
Poem inspired by Robert Frost
There’s a starfish in the
middle of a deep, dark sea
That I should have guessed
Was a shining star in the mysterious night sky
That will never be able to rest.
It’s soft grey skin covering
it s body,
Left alone out there,
The lonely starfish wondering in the sea,
As a star in the sky up there.

Fire
and Ice
SOME
say the world will end in fire
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire
But if
it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To know that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice
-Robert Frost.

Wind
and Water – Poem inspired by Robert
Frost
Some say the world will flood with water,
Some say it will blow away,
From
what I’ve seen from both
I hold in favor of water
But if I lived twice,
I’d think I would know how to handle both,
The hollering howl of the wind,
The rushing rapids of water,
Both great in nature,
And both deadly to man
