The words
Of wonder
In a way of question
Give an answer
Within themselves
Many wonder
A simple question
That those of knowledge
Can answer.

Secret
The clever
twist
Is pouring tears
Into a tall, black hat
Waving a sharp No. 2 pencil
Slowly over the blue echoes
Then gently, gently
Pulling out a bloomin' poem.

The Water Balloon
Poem Inspired by Pat Mora
The faucet
pours water into the balloon.
As he gets ready to strike,
He sees someone coming closer.
He takes his aim,
and releases the balloon,
hitting his target.
A friendship starts,
and lasts a lifetime.

Lights the wick
wax softens, melts
Fire spreads
Sparks a core
Frees a spirit
To sing a quiet song.
