My Wonderful Name
A lot of people have various names that people call them. My special name
is Brittany. Although I have nicknames, no one calls me by them. My
nicknames are like a paperweight, they both are not used. My name is as long
as three miles. When I hear people try to spell it, they never get it
right. My name is like leftovers from Sunday night’s dinner on a Monday
afternoon. The more that I hear it/eat it the more that I dislike it. When
I think of my name I think of a dark ugly brown color. Brittany compares
to the sun melting away the snow, so that we can g
Lauren? Lauren. What kind of a name is that for a girl like me? We are so different I am a basketball player and Lauren is like a soft-girl name. Well, just like my first name, my middle name is just as popular. So maybe I should just go by Blackwell. Yea, nobody has the name Blackwell. Then I can stand out from other people as though I just won the lottery. Or maybe I should go by the number on my jersey. When I walk in the big broad frames of the door all my friends would say “Hey 45.” Yea, I am starting to like the whole number thing. But, wait when my teacher hands out papers and tests, am I just supposed to put “45” on the sheet where it says name? Ok, ok, I know that I am struggling with which name I want to go by, so why don’t I just make up a nickname for myself? Yea, it will be outstanding. Everyone will know it. Like b-baller, Bree, Britt, I don’t know. Or I’ll just be like this boy who never goes by one name. People know him by four or five names and they are Shellfish, Michael, Bobby, Rj, and Pridgon. I will be just like him. Yea, that right. I am going to be a supermarket brand of ice cream and not be original. I will just copy off of somebody else. But, do I really want to be a phony? No, absolutely not. So I will just stick with what I have. I will just be me, Brittany.
