is your name original?

    My Name is James Elliott Campbell III. The name James means caring and energetic.  I hate that the name James is so common, that’s why I go by the name Elliott. Its very unique. Its like a tulip growing in a field of roses, which is hardly heard of just like the name Elliott. My name reminds me of the food sushi, its original and not served every where. My name is also original in since it is my middle name and not many people go by their middle name. Since the name Elliott is so original there aren’t that many famous people who’s names are Elliott, but a few are the race car driver Bill Elliott and also a basketball player for the San Antonio spurs Sean Elliott.          

            I received the name from my grandfather, he gave the name to my father and my father named me that also.  My father and my grandpa were born in February and March. I on the other hand was born in  November. I am not sure if that has anything to do why or personalities are different. 

            The name Elliott has a very strong sound, like a hammer hitting steal over and over. The name James on the other hand is more smooth like cars moving fast down a wet street. My bother has more of a rough sounding name, I am glad mine is not rough. My sisters name is very smooth, Jasmine. Her name just sort of rolls off of your tongue, which is a food thing for a girl.  Fortunately my name isn’t like that.

            I think the name James is more like the sport basketball, because in basketball you have to be smooth and have finesse. Elliott is like the game of football, its rough and tough sounding.

            I love my name and I wouldn’t change it for the world. If I were forced to change my name I think I would change it to William because its also sort of and original name and I think it sounds good. I am very happy that my parents named me James Elliott Campbell III I think it’s the best name in the world!
