I am a girl who loves to play soccer

I wonder if ill ever be a pro soccer player

I hear the sound of the crowd cheering

I see the ball at my feet as I dribble up the field

I want to score the goal as soon as possible

I am a girl who loves to play soccer

I pretend to be an all star

I feel good when we win

I touch the hands of the opposite team players

I worry they might of spit on them

I cry when the ball knocks the breath out of me

I am a girl who loves to play soccer

I understand when people make mistakes

I say you’ll get them next time

I dream that my team will be unbeatable

I try to help the people on my team

I hope they do the same for me
