As I Walk Along the Bank of the Smooth Sided Stream As I Walk Along the Bank of the Smooth Sided Stream
By Kaitlin Johnson
As I walk along the bank of the smooth sided stream I carefully feel the wind as it blows gently at my hair I feel the eyes of the egret, beginning a soft gentle gleam In the corner of my eye, I can see the warm kindness resting there The wind is singing, the wind is singing The sky feels so clean and proud The bell floating in the sky keeps ringing The reeds rushing so loud, so loud, the reeds rushing so loud The water in the stream is so clear, Past the rocks it soars Drawing near drawing near The sparkle slowly laps at the shores Forever giving It will forever be living
